In just over 20 years, Diana van den Boomen Interiors has grown into a multidisciplinary interior design agency. Our team of five design experts work in various fields such as interior design, lighting design, interior styling and creative strategy. The studio in Bilthoven is our base where we create space and attention for every project and detail.

Owner and interior designer
Diana van den Boomen
With a fresh look and a tidy desk, Diana prefers to start the day as early as possible in the studio. With more than 20 years of experience as a reliable interior designer, she has left her mark in the Netherlands but also abroad. Her enormous wealth of knowledge and experience are useful in all the design phases. From the first sketch to the finale construction – where she manages “the men” with her work boots- to the styling of the project. In the evenings Diana studied at the Hout & Meubileringscollege and during the day she gained work experience at the Dutch Design Center and a home & design store. Her Brazilian roots are reflected in the use of warm and attractive materials. Diana does not have her own signature, in her entire career there has not been an interior that shows similarities with any another assignment. People are unique, so no house is the same.

Tanja Scholts
Our peace and strength within the team with an overdose of “dry” humor. Tanja is an interior designer through and through. With a track record of more than 18 years in the field, she has been working in the team since 2017. She obtained her bachelor’s degrees at KHM in Mechelen and NABA, Nuova Accademia Di Belle Arti in Milan. Tanja goes through all phases of the design process, allowing her to meticulously deliver a project in detail. From small to large projects, she strives for unique solutions. Listening, looking, searching and translating are her strength, creating an interior with its own identity that suits the user. She won’t say it herself, but she can be proud of her projects procucing a remarkable and personal result for our customers.

Renske Rademaker
Her constant eye for detail and style make the cheerful Renske a very valuable creative director. Renske has been part of the team for over 5 years. She colorfully completed her Visual Art & Design course. But actually, that wasn’t even necessary, styling is simply in her DNA. Through work experiences at an Italian Design Agency and the Dutch Design Center, Renske has mastered material knowledge like no other. Her love for design, colors and materials are reflected in every project. Translating the customer’s wishes into a mood board, furniture plan and further design phases comes naturally.
From styling to upholstery of an interior, she takes care of the smallest details.

Francis Amallou
With her Greek heratige and looks, Francis has been an asset to the team since 2019. She followed interior design courses in The Hague and Rhodes. She gained her work experience at an architectural firm where she made 3D designs for hotels and the hospitality industry, among others. As an interior designer, she mainly focuses on drawing, 3D designs and artist impressions. Her good sense of materials and styling come to life in the designs.

Claire Sleijffers
Last but not least, Claire has been the last member of the team since 2023. With more than 20 years of experience in marketing and communications, she has a lot of creative experience with, among other things, corporate identity, magazines, photography and designs. The combination of the Graphic School and Marketing Communication courses now comes in handy in her work.
